Terms of Sale (“Terms”)

Please read these Terms of Sale (“Terms”, “Terms and Conditions”, “ToS”) carefully before purchasing our plans from siteroo.design‘s website (the “Service”) operated by Siteroo (“us”, “we”, or “our”).

By purchasing one of our plans you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Terms of Use. If you disagree with any part of our terms or Terms of Use then you cannot purchase from our Service; by purchasing with Siteroo, you are agreeing to these terms and Terms of Use.


1. 25 – 40% Deposit Required Before Commencement of Client Project

Before Siteroo staff can start on a new web design plan for you, Siteroo requires a 25% deposit / down payment as the first instalment of a client plan’s package before a project can begin. This is regardless if the client’s project is already self hosted on their own chosen hosting provider or if we host it on our chosen hosting provider under our own credentials without disclosure to you until full plan payment is made.

Payments can be made via Bank Transfer (preferred) or PayPal.Me. Details will be provided on the invoice.

Smaller tasks like G Suite setup or WordPress modifications require a 40% upfront deposit before the commencement of any work.

2. Web Design 3 Month Project Scope & Additional Fees for Future Support Thereafter

We will work on your website, including any theme, design or content updates for a maximum of 3 months from your first invoice’s due date. 3 months is a long time for web design work, so hopefully we never hit that wall.

If you need more web design support after that period, we will be releasing affordable web design support packages in the near future.

3. 30-Day Money Back Guarantee 

If you are already controlling your hosting environment and do not want to transfer your hosting environment over to our environment, we can not offer a 30 day money back guarantee initiated by the client (yourself). This is to prevent clients essentially requesting a refund after 30 days and running away with our weeks worth of work and income.

For smaller tasks like G Suite setup or WordPress modifications, we cannot offer refunds. The expectation is that this is what you ordered and we delivered a desirable result you were happy to accept. (We work very hard to achieve this outcome on behalf of out clients).


4. SLAs for Third Party and Bring Your Own Hosting Environments for Uptime Availability

Since third party hosting companies such as Google Cloud Platform, SiteGround, WPEngine own their infrastructure and all have their own SLAs with minimum downtime periods stipulated, we recommend you check out their SLAs on their websites to ensure their SLAs are in line with your business requirements. While Siteroo will do everything in our best customer interest to ensure maximum server uptime, we can make no server uptime guarantees beyond what third party hosting provider SLAs already promise

5. Refunds, including PayPal Refunds

While we hope our clients love their websites and our wonderful service, we understand there can be cases where maybe you changed your mind on your project’s goals. We offer a 14 day grace period in which we’ll refund everything you’ve paid, as long as you agree not to use our work (the website we worked on for you) anywhere. We trust that our customers will do good by us.

For this clause to apply, Siteroo would have to retain full control over your website’s hosting environment (i.e. No sharing of hosting login credentials), this is to ensure customers do not steal our hard earned weeks of work from us. 

6. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of New South Wales, Australia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between us regarding our Service, and supersede and replace any prior agreements we might have between us regarding the Service.

7. Changes

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using the Service.
